Garden salad – A Fresh Tossed Salad
Garden salad is also known as tossed salad. It mostly consists of green fresh vegetables. Green vegetables like Mesclun or lettuce are used as the salad’s base. It comprises of the different kinds of dressings including blue-cheese dressing, French dressing, Thousand-Island dressing, Italian dressing, honey mustard and ranch dressing. Generally, it’s served as the main course in most of the restaurants. But the main course version usually has some additional ingredients like seafood or meats. Side salad is the name given to the smaller version of the garden salad. It’s prepared by tossing all ingredients together in the bowl along with dressing.
